Wednesday afternoon, the White Township Supervisors discussed the first steps taken toward a proposed RV Park Ordinance.
This comes after township residents have voiced their opposition to possible mobile home parks, most of which are directly related to the natural gas-fired power plant project in Center Township.
That ordinance is currently in the early stages of development. Township Manager Chris Anderson says that they have an outline of an ordinance that they received from the Pennsylvania State Association of Township Supervisors, and they are using it to form their own version.
Township resident are encouraged to view the draft on the township website and contact the township office with comments or concerns.
In other business, supervisors approved the storm water management agreement in connection with a property on McLain Road, and set Trick-or-Treat in the township for October 31st from 6-8 p.m..
