S&T Bank has been recognized by the American Bankers Association with the Community Commitment Award in the Supporting Military Families category.
The Community Commitment Award recognizes banks for exceptional service and impact in their communities. The category honors programs that improve the quality of life for active-duty service members, former service members, veterans and their families. S&T Bank has had several programs that have supported veterans and active military and their families for the last 20 years including the Stars and Stripes Employee Resource Group which includes nearly 70 employees who provide outreach, mentorship, resources and community engagement for veterans and military families. The company also has other programs to support the military community through financial contributions and hands-on volunteer activities.
S&T Bank’s Chief Human Resource Officer Susie Nicholson said they are “honored to recognize those who serve and foster a workplace where their contributions are valued.”
The bank will receive the award at the ABA annual convention in Salt Lake City later this month.
