A third suspect in a counterfeiting spree in White Township has been identified.
State police announced yesterday that 22-year-old Brian Stalin Castro-Ortega of Flushing, New York and 21-year-old Jordan Alexan Alvarado-Garrido, whose address is unknown, were identified as suspects, along with a man identified only as “John Doe” by police. Court documents show that the third suspect arrested that day was 22-year-old David Alejandro Osorio Sepulveda, who was listed as a homeless man from Pennsylvania. Sepulveda is charged with theft by deception, two counts of theft by unlawful taking and two counts of retail theft for the incident on Sunday, where he, Castro-Ortega and Alvarado-Garrido and a fourth individual used phony $100 to make purchases at seven businesses along the Oakland Avenue corridor.
Police also believe that the four may have also been involved in recent similar incidents in the Punxsutawney area of Jefferson County.
The fourth unnamed suspect remains at large. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call state police at 724-357-1960.
