Zach Top is parting ways with two of his longtime band members.
According to a report from American Songwriter, backup singer Cheyenne Dalton Meyer confirmed that she was fired. Her husband, bassist Jimmy Meyer, has also left the band. In an announcement on social media, Cheyenne said she was “let go” sometime in March and that it was “unexpected.”
Neither she nor Top have shared the reason she was fired, but the country star did introduce two new band members during his opening set for George Strait in Lubbock, Texas on Friday.
